Booster Golf Tournament Attracts 17 Teams

The Booster Club Golf Fundraiser was held Sunday at Puakea Golf Course. Fifty supporters enjoyed great weather and fellowship in the process of raising over $8000 to support student athletes at Island School. Thanks, especially, to our Voyager Sponsors: Hokuala Kaua‘i, King Auto Center and Layton Construction. Also to our Gold Sponsors: Cades Schutte, Cushnie Construction and Keller Williams Kaua‘i.

The winning team this year was from King Auto Center and featured golfer, Reece Valencia ʻ18, and his father, Ron Valencia and grandfather, Bob Valencia.

Congratulations and mahalo to all participants. Be a Voyager!

Chorus Clothing Exchange Coming Up

All chorus students in grades 4-8 are required to have black dress pants and black dress shoes for the concert. NOW is the time to start looking for these.
In efforts to help - since kids grow so quickly - the chorus has a Clothing Exchange. Parents donate gently used black shoes and pants, which are then available for use by other parents at no charge. Simply use them while they fit, wash them, and then donate them back to the chorus. You can view the exchange inventory at this site:

The chorus welcomes donations of clean, usable black dress pants and black dress shoes. If you would like to donate items, simply send them to school and Mr. Steinbacher will add them to the inventory.

The chorus Christmas concert is December 14 at KCC.
Mark your calendars now.
