Art Day - This Friday - October 28

We are excited about Art Day 2016, which is this Friday, October 28th.  Between 8:00 and noon students in kindergarten through high school will be engaged in twenty-three different workshops that focus on the visual and performing arts.

Students will create many types of paintings, as well as collages, multi-media art installations, embroidered bookmarks, panoramic pinhole photographs, Pop Art paintings on panels, silk screen T-shirts, tribal masks, Native American talking sticks, and chocolate candies. They will sculpt, stencil, dance, cook, juggle, act, drum, and play music.  Our campus will be temporarily transformed into a hub of artistic activity!

After lunch the Art Walk will provide wonderful entertainment and will display all of the artwork the students have produced that morning.

A couple more parent volunteers are needed to help in workshops. No art experience is necessary to be an assistant in one of these exciting creative experiences.  If you would like to help out, email Penny at
