Our new high school science teacher, John Patterson, is the inventor of an atomic watch! He is the owner and founder of Bathys Hawai‘i Watch Company. In a recent write up, he was described as, "a humble watchmaker in Kauai, Hawaii, who, for the past five years, has been quietly making the world’s first consumer-level atomic watch." His watches will lose only a second in accuracy in 1000 years! You can read the article here:https://www.inverse.com/article/20497-john-patterson-atomic-ce
