A Week From This Friday - May 13 May Day Celebration, Lu‘au and Silent Auction

As you can see in the photos, practice is underway throughout the school for our annual celebration of Hawaiian songs, dances, flowers and food.

Our May Day program will begin at 8:45 a.m. in the Wilcox Gymnasium, and will feature performances by all students in grades PK-8, special dances from high school students, the halau, and our senior class. Our May Day band will feature local island singers and musicians as well as our high school ukulele students. The Do Drop Inn, under the direction of Dean Wakamoto, is preparing a special act.

Parents - please note that this is a regular school day.Attendance by students is required. Students who are not performing are asked to wear aloha attire (otherwise, school t-shirts are required).

The public is invited, so bring your friends and relatives.

Immediately following the show is our May Day Lu‘au. Tickets are on sale in the Office or online (see instructions below). There will also be a Silent Auction on the back lanai of the Admin Building, featuring a wide array of items up for bid.

School buses will leave that Friday at 12:15.

Last Day to Buy Lu‘au Tickets is This Wednesday!
