As our digital projectors become old and stop functioning, we are replacing them with 65" TVs! Although costlier up front, this is a less expensive choice in the long run. While the projectors require screens, speakers and very expensive bulb replacements, the TVs do not need any of these things and the quality is better. They are easy to watch, even with the lights on. The prices of these have been coming down quickly, making them the perfect purchase as we transition from projectors.
The first one has been installed in the Hala Classroom in Brown Hall. At left, Mr. Reynolds uses the new TV in his sophomore English class.
