Poetry Student Compose Haiku

Students in Ms. Street's poetry course wrote these poems:

Two Haikus
Changing Seasons
I watch the leaves change
Falling like my scattered dreams

Hopeful to change too
                        by Eris Fani ʻ17
Winter is Coming
The last winter leaves
Clinging to the black branches
Explode into birds.

                             by Kilikai Ahuna ʻ17

Chinese Shi
A man and his child walk side by side

Most children fear the dark.
Instead, the pain of going to the dentist instills fear in the child's mouth.
