First Graders Had a Terrific Overnight in Koke‘e
Beautiful Koke‘e weather greeted first graders and their parents on Thursday.
The group had a great time hiking, touring and learning about the Koke‘e Museum, Russian Fort and the Waimea Canyon. They participated in a invasive/native plant scavenger hunt, tie dyed t-shirts, played a trampoline team building game, made s'mores at an outdoor fire pit, eradicated ginger, and enjoyed each other's company.
Many thanks to those who helped make this such a terrific experience for the students. (See Mahalos.)
