Middle School Sock Hop
It is SOCKVEMBER time at Island School. The Middle School Student Council is putting on a SOCK HOP. It is their way of having fun and giving to others. Students are asked to wear their craziest pair of socks to the dance. Please read the information below:
WHAT: Middle School “SOCK HOP” MOVIE & DANCE … SOCKS REQUIRED.
WHEN: November 13, from 4:30-9:00pm. Activities start at 4:30, dance begins at 6:00pm and ends at 9:00pm
WHERE: Frear Center
WHAT: Movie, board games, dance, food and fun
WHY: To have fun and help those in need.
ATTIRE: Dress is casual, but general dress code rules of modesty apply.
BEHAVIOR-RESPECT IS THE KEY. All students will behave respectfully towards adults and towards their fellow students.
CHAPERONES: Alice April, Keyk Capati, Joe Corbo, Jessica Crowe, and Emily Thomas.
COST:Payment to get into the dance is a pair of NEW SOCKS or SLIPPERS. The socks will be donated to Child and Family Services. The slippers will go on the slipper tree and donated to family services before our winter holiday.
