Girls Volleyball Practices Have Begun

Brad Sato, the Girls Varsity Volleyball Head Coach, announced that practices have begun and are  currently Monday thru Friday, 4:30-6:30pm. Girls in grade 8 and above are invited.
"My staff and I are excited to improve the volleyball program here at Island School. Combined, my staff has 50+ years of volleyball experience, ranging from middle school to college level coaching and playing. My ultimate goal is to make better people out of our players - teaching them responsibility, respect, and teamwork. We do this with a work hard- play hard environment, and by teaching them the skills of the game," he said.
The success of our volleyball program thrives with parent support. Parents are asked to show support by encouraging their daughters to come to practice every day. This consistency allows the staff to get the most out each of them, and eventually to turn individuals into a volleyball team.
Please come out to support our program this year. Contact Brad directly if you have any questions regarding practices, or tryouts for our high school program. He can be text messaged or called at 808-652-1297.
