Essay Contest for Students in Grades 10-12
The Hawai‘i Access to Justice Commission is sponsoring an essay contest on "How to Inspire Fellow Students to Volunteer."
Three essays from the neighbor islands and three from O‘ahu will be selected and recoginized at the Pro Bono Celebration event at the Hawai‘i Supreme Court Courtroom in Honolulu in October. There will be a $500 award for each award recipient and a travel stipend provided for each awadee and a parent/guardian.
Essays must be 500 words or less, using font size 12. Deadline is Sept. 24, 2015. Interested students should contact Dave Reynolds for details and entry forms at firstname.lastname@example.org.
