Sunday, April 26th is Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day (WPPD). For the third year Dean Wakamoto and Penny Nichols are offering this fun family event from 10 to 2 in the art room. Children are welcome, with or without parents. All you need to bring is your lunch. If you want to join the fun, contact Ms. Penny or Mr. Dean. (email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org)
WPPD is an international event that celebrates the art of pinhole photography. Photographers from all over the world post their photos on the WPPD website. The only requirements are that the photos be taken with a lensless camera and that they be taken on that Sunday.
Check out the 2014 WPPD online gallery to see the 3517 photos from 70 countries, all taken on the same day in 2014! http://pinholeday.org/gallery/2014/.
Here's Ms. Penny's favorite photo from last year's workshop. She took it with a pinhole camera she made from a shoebox.
