MS Art Students Learn Aborigine Art Tradition

Middle School Art students made life-sized body tracings on brown Kraft paper.

They're transforming them into large mixed media designs, inspired by the Aborigine art tradition. They're using pattern, line, color, and shape to create dynamic works of art.

Colby Barth, class of 2021, works on his body tracing design, along with his classmates.

Maka Oliveira, Conor Hunt and Sienna Martin-Oldfield, all of the class of 2020, add tempera paints to their large designs.

Graham Estelle, class of 2021 adds paint to his silhouette.

Patrick McKenna, class of 2020, paints the background shapes of his design.
