Halau Dances at Nawiliwili Mural Unveiling
Saturday evening, members of Na Pua O Ka Maile, our halau, danced at the unveiling of the mural to commemorate Queen Lili`uokalaniʻs visit to Kaua`i in 1891. It is mounted on the side of the Niumalu Canoe Club at Nawiliwili and is a project of Hale Opio. Island School parent, Kat Ho, mother of Aliana Ho, led the project.
