6th Graders Take Three-Part Chemistry Test

Students in 6th grade science just finished a three part unit test on chemical interactions. The test

consisted of creating a study guide, a written test, and a lab section. Students were assessed on the following criteria: their ability make study materials, their knowledge relating to chemistry, and their lab skills.

During the lab section, students were asked to form a hypothesis involving the speed of two different chemical reactions. Each student had to form a hypothesis, create a procedure, collect data, and write a three paragraph conclusion based on their data and observations within 25 minutes.
