An Annual Giving Letter

As we enter this season of reflection and giving, we write to thank you for supporting the mission of Island School and all those who work so tirelessly to bring it to fruition. Community support and collaboration have always been at the heart of Island School's success. This is especially true for our fund raising and advancement efforts. Donations to Island School inspire innovations in teaching and improvements to the campus. Most of all, they bring us together for a common purpose - to invest in our youth and the future of our island community.

This week is our first official Annual Giving celebration. Over the next few days, we will be sending messages your way that will share information about Annual Giving and the impact that it has here on campus. If you haven't already done so, we hope you will participate in Annual Giving by making a donation at a level that is meaningful to you. Island School is a registered, 501(c)3 non-profit organization, and gifts to the school are tax deductible. You can donate online at, call the office, or mail or walk in checks (or cash) at your convenience.

If you have any questions or would like more information, please don't hesitate to contact any member of the Advancement Office by calling us at 246-0233. Again, thank you for being a part of our 'ohana. We wish you a warm and happy holiday season.

With Aloha,

Sean Magoun, Director of Institutional Advancement
Joan Shaw, Director of Development & College Counseling
Daryl Edwards and Deatri Nakea, Advancement Office
