Stanford Achievement Testing for Grades 6 & 9

Each year, students in grades six and nine are given the Stanford Achievement Test. This test is a diagnostic tool that compares our students at these grade levels on a national scale in the areas of language, reading, spelling, math, listening, social science and science. Tests will be administered during the students' regularly scheduled PE classes.

Students may bring a bottle of water and a novel (to read if they finish early) to the test. No other items should be brought to class. Pencils, rulers and scratch paper will be provided. Prompt attendance is critical. Please ensure your students arrive on time. Your kokua is appreciated.

Dates for testing in 6th grade are:
Friday, September 12
Tuesday, September 1
Thursday, September 18 – No Testing – School Photo Day
Monday, September 22
Wednesday, September 24

Dates for testing in 9th grade are:

Scores on the Stanford Achievement Tests do not affect a student's class grade or GPA. For more information, contact Joan Shaw at joan@ischool.org.
