Parent were sent letters via email last week describing our high school retreats. The high school retreat is an overnight experience and is planned specially for each high school class.
  • The freshmen class will have a full day of activities on Thursday. Students and their advisers will stay on campus overnight and continue with class bonding activities through Friday, August 29.
  • The sophomore class and their advisers will be bused to the Hanchett Ranch in Moloa‘a where they will camp for the evening. They will continue with class bonding activities through the end of the school day, Friday, August 29.
  • The junior class and their advisers will spend the night at Makanalani Farm near Kilauea Town. They will continue with class bonding activities through Friday, August 29.
  • On Thursday night, the senior class will camp at Polihali State Park in Kekaha. The following morning they will boat into Nua‘lolokai to take part in class bonding activities while preserving the natural and cultural resources of the Na Pali Coast.
The goals of these retreats are to increase commitment to excellence, improve engagement in activities, raise awareness of ethical conduct, and demonstrate empathy for one another.
