Class of 2014 Plant Their Gift of Plumeria Trees

Four members of the Island School Class of 2014 woke up early this morning to make good on their senior gift to Island School. They met up with volunteers from Kaua‘i Nursery and Hawaiian Mahogany, Inc., who brought the trees and dug the holes. Mahalo to everyone who helped with this project. The trees, which are planted on the east side of the Wilcox Gymnasium, will beautify our campus and provide the lovely plumeria flowers we use for so many special occasions.
Austin Cook, Makali‘i Pratt, Kellan Wortmann and Lansen Eto planted the trees.

Their gift included a plaque listing the names of the Class of 2014.
